Engaged Customary for Malay - Malaysian

This post is created to give more understanding on Engaged Customary for Malay - Malaysian.

Engaged customary extract promises aimed to unite the bride.  
Upon completion of the engagement between the two brides, then it means that both cannot accept and propose others(besides them).

This first engaged customary with 'tepak sirih' box as custom head, 'sirih junjung', engagement rings and delivery of goods gifts, such as quality garments of cloth, food, sweets and others.  
In general, the total would amount to an odd delivery and the woman will respond to any more than the man.
For example, 7 pass(gifts on trays) from him will be reverenced(replied) 9 pass(gifts on trays) from me and the other kind.
